Wales & Wye Laning Group (WWL) was renamed and re-launched in January 2013, from the previously successful name of West Wales Laning Group. WWL was originally founded in 2008, by laning trip organiser and group leader, John.
WWL are a small responsible, active, and primarily none extreme user group based across Mid & West Wales and the Wye Valley, with a mix of members and TreadLightly volunteers. Our aim is to promote safe and sensible driving in the countryside and put something back when we can, via our volunteer efforts.
WWL is not looking to become a large group or business, and don't charge per trip for driving your own vehicles along public rights of way, purely more of a contact mailing list for those, who perhaps don't have funds or time to commit to the full club social scene or commercial outings, but who do want to get out laning safely, sensibly and more importantly correctly and legally with others. We do however charge a small annual fee to join, this covers website admin and new GLASS affiliation for 2015. Please refer to the Conduct page for rules and guidelines. We currently have a limit of 37 active members throughout Wales and the Wye Valley and sometimes have a small waiting list to join.
If you have a 4x4 and want to go laning in our neck of the woods, then please get in touch. We will be aiming to organise at least one group green laning outing per month in 2015 so why not come along in your own, or even come along as a passenger (if someone can fit you in) if it is something you have always wanted to try.
WWL do not cater for Motocross bikes, Quads or other ATV's as there were already many similar forums and clubs that cater for these disciplines within Wales already, You may wish to contact the TRF for your motorcycle related enquiries.
If you are specifically looking for Shropshire Laning group or South Wales laning group, then please see the pages above, we are all 3 separately operated reputable clubs who carry out responsible laning trips organised by GLASS Area Reps.
To enquire about anything above please contact John via email@example.com
